Con Edison Crews Restore Electric Service to Customers in Brooklyn Following Truck Accident
Con Edison restored power this morning to 9,735 Brooklyn customers after a truck struck overhead wires, knocking them down.
Crews responded immediately and made repairs following the accident near the intersection of Troy Avenue and Glenwood Road. The outage began at about 7:45 a.m. and service was restored to all customers by 11 a.m.
The outage affected customers in the Flatbush and East Flatbush neighborhoods.
