Con Edison’s Electric Vehicle Charging Experts Available for Interviews at New York Auto Show
Con Edison invites members of the press to speak with our experts at the New York International Auto Show on April 5 and 6 about the opportunities and challenges of charging electric vehicles in the nation’s largest city.
Con Edison’s booth is #1602 on Level 1 at the Javits Center, near the EV Test Track.
There are now more than 45,000 EVs registered in New York City and Westchester County, a doubling in the last two years. With consumer interest in EV ownership surging, the development of EV charging infrastructure is critical to meeting New York’s climate goals.
Con Edison supports electrified transportation through a variety of programs. The company’s PowerReady program provides financial support to EV charging projects, while its SmartCharge New York program rewards drivers who charge their cars during off-peak hours.
Con Edison buys only electrified vehicles for its own light-duty fleet, and is exploring electrification for its medium- and heavy-duty trucks. The company will have its first electric bucket truck on display at the New York International Auto Show.
Interviews with Con Edison’s experts can be conducted in person on April 5 or 6 or via phone. To schedule an interview, call 212-460-4111.
