Bonus Incentives for Soundview Gas Customers
Non-Pipeline Alternatives (NPAs) help us maintain reliable gas service during peak periods of energy use and provide electrification as an alternative to gas, which eliminates the need to build costly new gas infrastructure.
We’re looking to reduce strain on our gas system and bolster the resiliency of our service in the Soundview neighborhood of the Bronx. We’re offering additional cost-savings and incentives for eligible gas customers who live and work there.
If you’re eligible, you’ll receive our standard incentives through the Small Business & Nonprofit and Clean Heat program, plus special, limited NPA incentives exclusively for your neighborhood. In addition to being located in Soundview, your building must be connected to Con Edison’s high-pressure gas piping system to be eligible.

How it Works
- Select a Participating Contractor from our list that offers the upgrades you are interested in or have yours apply to participate.
- The contractor visits your facility, provides a quote for the work, and estimate of how much Con Edison will cover. You decide if and when the work gets done.
- The contractor completes the application and performs the work. Con Edison pays up to 100% of the cost directly to the contractor, and you pay the difference. No waiting for rebates.
All Soundview Bonus Incentives will expire December 31, 2024. Projects must be installed with all final documentation submitted by October 1, 2024 to be eligible for incentive payment. Failure to meet the respective timelines will result in non-payment of Soundview Incentives.
