SmartCharge Commercial Program
Eligible chargers include those for public, workplace, multifamily, industrial, and light-, medium-, and heavy-duty fleet charging. You can participate in both SmartCharge Commercial and SmartCharge New York.
As a SmartCharge Commercial participant, you can earn the following with your EV chargers in the Con Edison service area:

Peak Avoidance Incentive (kW)
Earn extra incentives by avoiding charging during network peak windows with every kW avoided relative to its nameplate:
--$10 per kW for not charging during the network peak* between June and September.
--$2 per kW for not charging during the network peak* between October and May.
*Different neighborhoods peak during different times, find out which network peak your site falls under. |

Demand Charge Rebate
50% Demand Charge Rebate for Eligible DCFCs Available
If you have publicly accessible DCFCs (Direct-Current Fast Chargers), you could receive help with operating costs and offset a portion of the applicable demand charges on your electricity bills. Chargers can be either separately metered or metered with additional site load, if the chargers represent at least half of the load.
You can participate in both SmartCharge Commercial and Demand Charge Rebate progams.
