Become an Electric Vehicle Project Partner

We’re looking for partners to make it easier for New Yorkers to switch to electric vehicles. Our electric vehicle demonstration projects show the potential to increase adoption of electric vehicles and maximize the benefits to the energy grid. We want to increase the number of miles traveled by electric vehicles and create environmental and economic benefits for our customers.

We are looking to host qualified partners at an electric vehicle charging hub in Brooklyn, NY. Our site can accommodate up to 18 electric vehicle parking stalls and will be fully developed with electric utility service, outdoor-rated distribution service panel, and conduit and wiring up to the parking stalls. Our partners will install, own, and operate electric vehicle supply equipment—such as Level 2 AC chargers, DC Fast Chargers, or a mix of charging types—and necessary support equipment, and will serve customers with electric vehicles.

If you’re an electric-vehicle charging provider, equipment manufacturer, fleet owner, or other interested party, this may be a good opportunity for you. Con Edison favors proposals that fully utilize the site, include advanced technology and innovative business models in their proposals, and include partnerships with committed customers.
